CYP Club has been asked to help recruit volunteers for Glassquerade 25, a Mardi Gras party and fundraiser on Saturday, February 22 from 6-11pm at the Columbus Glass Art Center. Volunteers will be asked to work half the event, and then they can enjoy the other half of the event for free (tickets are normally $50-250).
What to wear: Dress in your Mardi Gras best!

About the event: You won’t want to miss this year’s Hot Shop Demonstration featuring Jon Capps and Morgan Peterson from Season Four of Netflix’s Blown Away! Activities will include: Hair Tinseling, Glass Smashing, Plinko, Bottle Pull for Wine and Other Alcohol. Art Pull to Win Glass Art, Kings Cake, Make a Pipe or Drink Stir on the Torch, and Pick a Tumbler (Handmade by our local artists for you to enjoy drinks all night!).
Enjoy the entertainment! From 6-9 p.m., a DJ will be playing New Orleans style tunes. From 9-11 p.m., listen to a live band. Additional event features include Gallery Pop-Up Exhibition with Jon Capps. Gallery Pop-Up featuring Aluminum Art, Jewelry, and Masks.
Savor the food and drinks! You can enjoy delicious Creole food and drinks provided by local vendors, including tastings from 614 Beer & Vodka, food and dessert from Creole 2 Geaux, a Baked Potato Bar Fresh Out of the Glass Kilns (With fully loaded toppings like butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and bacon), and Frozen Wine Slushies from NOLA Daq Shack.
